UPDATES: ok so, this is ~star-light-dragon here. sorry about the veeeeery long hiatus on this club, we just havent had a whole lot of time to do anything with it latley.
SO. i was thinking, after im done going through notes and cleaning up the message center up a bit, is anybody up for a contest?.... give me your thoughts on this plz, if we do end up doing one, it will be christmas themed

Because we love Shikamaru and Temari together... No InoShika please! XD Now that is settled, let me mention a few reasons why we think that Shikatema is most likely to occur...

Shikamaru is Temari’s only love interest. Other than her siblings, Sasuke, and Naruto, she hasn’t really interacted with any of the other boys. That means Temari’s 100% dedicated to Shikamaru, whereas Ino is a Sasuke fan-girl, and could also probably go with Choji (Its Chubbies time!) ...

Shikamaru is a “cloud loving boy” and Temari is “master of the winds”... Shikamaru wants to be like a cloud drifting through the sky, and Temari could be the wind that pushes him along. His motivation.

Shikamaru refuses to finish his fight with Temari in the chunnin exams saying he was out of chakra and he doesn’t like fighting girls . But was this really true?

First off, Shikamaru had just outright beaten Kin in the prelims and later fights Tayuya head on. He didn’t like fighting them because of their gender, but he didn’t particularly hold back nonetheless.

Also, right after their fight, Shikamaru goes with Naruto and Sakura in search of Sasuke without being given time to rest. He fights numerous ninja using his jutsus on them even though he told Temari he had no chakra left. Suspicious?

Ino has a bad temper, but nowhere NEAR as bad as Temari . I mean, come on, who would you rather have pissed at you? We all know Shikamaru’s going to end up with the scariest girl in the whole show . I vote Temari for that position . Did you see her pwn Tayuya? She was “scarier than Shikamaru’s MOM!”

After Temari rescues Shikamaru from Tayuya she tells him to let her know the next time he’s in trouble, so she can save him… It’s just easier if he calls ahead of time… Um… Hello? Best ShikaTema moment over… “Women are so troublesome,” Shikamaru smirks…

In the fillers when Shikamaru pays back his debt to Temari, he treats her like she’s his intellectual equal. They work together amazingly as a team. And he completely disregards Ino to pay attention to Temari. (Poor Ino... )

In Shippuden, Naruto asks if Shikamaru and Temari are going out and Temari says to not be ridiculous… It’s just a ninja mission. Practically the EXACT same situation happened in Naruto right before Kakashi, Asuma, Kurenai, and Gai fight Itachi and Kisame for the first time. Kakashi asks Kurenai and Asuma if they’re going out and Kurenai gives a very similar answer . Of course, we all know she really WAS . Coincidence?

You can't forget that in Ship 6 - 7 he waits for her outside where she was staying, he's lazy and yet gets up to 'finish his job' as a guide. And she asks him to become a Jounin.

Even though he is lazy, in Ship. 33 he did get up at 6 in the morning which was a shocker. xD
